Zoom Meeting.
Amanda Cantrell and Thomas Suazo are professional field paleontologists, and the owners of Badlands Scientific Expeditions based out of New Mexico. Both former museum professionals, Amanda and Tom started their company in 2018 to be able to spend more time in the field collecting fossils with their young sons. Working in north-central New Mexico in 2021 they excavated a Torosaurus skeleton in the Naashoibito Member of the Ojo Alamo Formation with what would turn out to be the world’s largest fossil skull. They will talk about the discovery and excavation process.
